How Radar reads where you stand.
The Radar Score measures how the IT hiring system reads professional positioning across five weighted dimensions. The output is a one-to-five-star overall rating with a sub-score on each dimension. The methodology is structured the way credit scoring is structured. The factors are public. The weights are public. The exact algorithmic logic stays proprietary.
This page exists so you can see what the score is built on before you take the assessment. The methodology is the product. The data integrity is the asset.
The Five Dimensions
Loading dimension definitions…
Five dimensions, weighted, computed deterministically.
Each dimension produces a one-to-five-star sub-score. The overall Radar Score is the weighted average of the five sub-scores, rounded to the nearest integer. The same inputs always produce the same output. The scoring logic is versioned, which means historical scores can be recomputed under updated logic when the methodology evolves.
The five tier definitions:
Why these five dimensions.
Most career assessments measure what you've done. The Radar Score measures how the market reads you right now. Market Position, Compensation Position, and Career Trajectory measure the structural facts of your current position. Strategic Clarity measures whether you can see your own position accurately. Risk Exposure measures the environment you're operating inside. Together they produce a read that maps to how recruiters, hiring managers, and executive sponsors actually score professionals when they look at a profile or a candidate.
What's public. What's proprietary.
The five dimensions are public. The weights are public. The tier definitions are public. The signals that move each sub-score up or down are public. What stays proprietary is the exact point allocations per answer option, the specific question wording designed to surface real signals, and the algorithmic logic that converts raw answers to dimension scores. This is the FICO model. Everyone knows what FICO measures. Nobody knows the exact math. The methodology builds trust. The scoring engine stays defensible.
